Lee McVey - Work Zoom: Guadalupe Mountains, Afternoon Light

I started this Guadalupe Mountains painting "en plein air" last spring. After it sat for a year, I decided it needed some tweaking. I did very little in the studio, only adjusting a couple of values. (Values are the lights and darks of a color.)
