Chimney Rock is a well known rock formation at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, NM. I painted this right after I painted Ghost Ranch Chimneys. By the time I started this painting, I had to deal with not only the wind, but also biting no-see-um gnats. Oh, what plein air painters endure for their art!
